अरे! रूपसि बनो प्रेयसि
लिखूँगा गीत तुम पर मैँ
बना के अश्क को मोती
बिखेरूँगा तेरी ज्योती
अगर हो दीप सी क्षमता
जलोगी तुम जलूँगा मैँ
अगर बन जाओ तुम कविता
बहा दूँ प्रेम की सरिता
करेगी पाठ दुनिया जब
करोगी याद मुझको तब
न तुम होगी न हूँगा मैँ
रहेगी बस यहाँ प्रीती
करो श्रृंगार तुम अपना
बनेगा सच तेरा सपना
तुम्हारी आँख का काजल
हमारी आँख का जल मिल
बनेगी मसि, लिखूँगा मैँ        
अरे! रूपसि बनो प्रेयसि

VERSES

In this poem the poet wants to say that how a poet inspired by the beauty and seeks love in her and says O my beauty be the love I would write lines upon you, making tears as a pearl I would spread thy light. If you have capability of a lamp you would lit and I too. If you were be a poetry then I would flow the stream of love. When it will be read by the people then you would reminiscence me. Neither you will be there nor I would be but love will be eternal. Just ornate thyself your dreams would be true.The kohl of your eyes and tears of my eyes will make a solution of ink by which I would write a poem so be the love of me.
