आदम का वृक्ष (TREE OF A MAN)

था एक वृक्ष आदम का
बन गया बसेरा गीधों का
परिणाम स्वरुप वह गया सूख
तब शाखाओं में व्यापी भूख
अनल ने उनको दहकाया
सब देख रहे उसकी माया
विस्फोट का जब अवसर आया
तब अलग हुयी  उनकी काया
मिल सका न आब मगर उनको
तरसे जीवन भर तृन -तृन को
अवसर एक दिन ऐसा आया
मर -मर-मरके जीवन पाया
इक डाल उन्हें कुछ हरी दिखी
लड़ने को तत्पर स्वयं दिखी
बंध गयी एक आशा उनमें
शायद कुछ हो अब जीवन में
हारी वह भी निज स्वार्थ समर
रह गयी विप्र बन सकी न प्रवर

TREE OF MAN

Through this poem the poet wants to describe a man who is so poor that he cannot imagine a better life and it goes on as his struggle. In this poem the poet has taken a tree as that man . He says that  there was a tree  of man which became the shelter of vultures an lost its greenness. It is said that that the vultures sits on which tree becomes dry. The branches of tree became the victim of hunger and were burning from fire of poverty. At the time of blast they were severed each other, but the did not get the water of relief. They were hungry and thirsty for a bit of loaf and a drop of water,but once the time came they reattained the life. They found a green branch in them which was ready to struggle so they expected that some thing may happen in their life but that branch lost his battle and remain poor not power itself.
