नव वर्ष (NEW YEAR)

नव वर्ष का

यह कैसा हर्ष

जहाँ चारों तरफ

एक ही विमर्श

क्या

कुछ भी नया हो रहा है

शायद नहीं

फिर यह कैसा हर्ष

हर रोज

एक नई घटना

जिसे नाम दे दिया जाता है

दुर्घटना

अर्थात

वही होता है

जो नहीं होना चाहिए

फिर भी

लोग मनाते ही हैं

नव वर्ष

शायद यही है

लोगों की

खुशियों का उत्कर्ष

क्योंकि

फिर वर्ष भर

वही होने वाला है

जो नहीं होना चाहिए

जो मानवता के खिलाफ है

फिर कोई निर्भया बनेगी

जिस पर मोमबत्तियां जलाकर

लोग अपने दायित्वों को

पूरा करने का स्वांग रचते हैं

पर एक को अफरोज बनने से

रोक नहीं सकते

बल्कि

ऐसी घटनाओं को प्रोत्साहित

कर सकते हैं

लोकतंत्र का

मजाक उड़ा सकते हैं

भोली-भाली जनता को

मूर्ख बना सकते हैं

और

अपने काले कारनामों से

समाज सुधार का ढोंग

पीटना शुरू कर सकते हैं

बेबस जनता

सब कुछ सहती है

जबकि

जानती है कि

हर आने वाला पल

उसके लिए

सिर्फ काला है

यूँ तो हर पल

नया होता है

पर कुछ नया नहीं होता है

क्योंकि

नया का अस्तित्त्व ही

पुराने से ही होता है

पर पुराने का जश्न तो

अफ़सोस मात्र है

फिर क्यूँ है

यह हर्ष का उत्कर्ष

कि

आ रहा है

नव वर्ष

NEW YEAR

Through this poem the poet raise a question on celebration of a new year where as nothing is new through out year and every moment is always new so he says that New Year, which type of a joy it is, everywhere,there is only one type of consultation. Is something happening new? Probably not, then which type of joy it is ? Everyday there is a new event which is named as an accident. To wit that's what happens which should not be, still yet people are celebrating new Year. Perhaps this is the flourishing of happiness of the people.Because thereafter throughout the year the same is going to happen which should not be and against the humanity. Once again someone will  be Nirbhaya (a girl who was brutely gang raped in a bus of Delhi). People will oblige their obligations through candle light and indiguise themselves to to show their obligations but can not check to be a boy as Afroz(a rapist boy of Nirbhaya). Rather than stop such events they encourage, they can make a fun of democracy, they can make innocent people fool and by their evil deeds they pretend of social reforms which is tolerated by helpless masses who know it very well that every coming moments would be darker for them. As every coming moments are always new but nothing happens new because the existence of new is from the old and old celebration have pity  only. Then why it is the climex of joy ? that a new year is coming.
