अँधेरे में
धीमी लौ में जलती
एक ढिबरी
समाप्तप्राय है जिसकी ऊर्जा
नहीं ले सकती है जिसे किसी से कर्जा
लड़ रही है वह
विषाक्तानिल के झोंकों से
नहीं खड़ी कर सकती है वह
एक वृहद् बांस कि टट्टी
या
कैनवास का टेंट
क्योंकि नहीं है उसके पास
कोई मौद्रिक अरेंजमेंट
तिल-तिल
घट रही है
उसकी जीवन ज्योति
विषाक्तानिल का एक
सशक्त झोंका
फिर
गहन तम
और
चारों तरफ मातम

CANCER
Through this poem the poet wants to describe a cancer patient who has no money to cure himself. He says that there is a slow flame lamp which is burning in the dark whose power is going to be end which it cannot take a loan from any one. It is fighting with venomous wind. It cannot setup a large bamboo structure or a canvas tent because it has not any monetry arrangement.its light of life is declining slowly. A strong venomous gust blows and there is a deep darkness everywhere resulted mourning.
